Sandburg Volleyball Sweeps IVCC for 16th Straight Conference Win

The Carl Sandburg College volleyball team cruised to a 25-16, 25-14, 25-18 sweep at Illinois Valley on Tuesday to remain unbeaten in Arrowhead Conference play.
The Chargers (12-5, 4-0), who have won 16 consecutive conference matches, were led by 16 kills and five blocks from sophomore middle Peyton Bowman (Sciota, Ill./West Prairie).
Cora Vyhnanek (Colchester, Ill./West Prairie) had 30 assists, and libero Emily Bloomer (Burlington, Iowa/Burlington) had 20 digs for Sandburg, leaving her just one away from matching her career high.
